This is the first-generation AQUABRITE 45 — a 30 W RGB+W fixture in a brushed and polished aluminium body, still in stock and still doing exactly what it was built for. Red, green, blue and white diodes give planted tanks a full spectrum, and one button cycles three working modes: all four colours together, RGB only, or white only. At 45.7 cm it sits on a 45 cm rimless tank with the cord exiting at the rear.

Full Spectrum from Four Colours

Red, green, blue and white diodes are driven together to cover the range aquatic plants grow under, while keeping the colours in the tank looking natural rather than tinted. Rated output is 3,041 lumens at 30 W of working power — enough for a 45 cm planted layout.

Three Modes, One Button

Press once for RGB+W together, again for RGB only, again for white only, then off. RGB-only pushes the colour in a display scape; white-only is the clean look for maintenance and photography. The timer button cycles 6, 8, 10 and 12 hours, and a fourth press cancels it.

A Metal Body Built to Shed Heat

The housing is aluminium alloy with a widened, grooved surface that spreads heat away from the diodes — cooler LEDs last longer, and the manufacturer rates them past 30,000 hours. The fixture measures 17.99 × 4.72 × 3.93 in (45.7 × 12 × 10 cm).
