A full five feet of frameless glass gives your hardscape somewhere to actually go — a foreground, a mid-ground, and a horizon that reads from the far side of the room. Nearly 90 gallons of water sit behind 15mm low-iron glass, the heaviest gauge we build, so a tank this large stays every bit as bright and true as a nano on a desk.

Built for Eighty-Eight Gallons

Water this deep and this wide puts real load on glass. We build this one from 15mm low-iron panels — ultra-white, acid and alkali resistant, precisely cut and joined at standard right angles, with hand-laid German silicone in thin, even seams that all but disappear once the tank is filled. It is low-iron glass, not tempered, which is what lets it be cut, polished and bonded to this standard.

Depth You Can Actually Plant

Fifty centimetres front to back and fifty top to bottom gives you a near-square cross-section — deep enough for layered composition, shallow enough to reach the substrate without climbing. Paths vanish between stones, ridgelines stack behind one another, and a stem bed has somewhere to fill in. At five feet wide, you can run two separate focal points and still leave open water between them.

Safe Delivery, Guaranteed

A five-foot glass panel is not a parcel, so we do not ship it like one. Every one of these leaves us inside a carton, inside a reinforced wooden crate, strapped to a pallet, and moves by freight. Please inspect it before you sign. If your aquarium arrives damaged, contact us with photos and we'll make it right.

Good to Know

• Support the whole footprint. Filled, this tank is well over 800 lbs. It needs a flat, level surface rated for the load across its entire 59" × 19.7" base — never just at the corners.
• Drilling. The glass is not tempered, so it can be drilled for a sump or an overflow. Have it done by a professional: any drilling or modification is at your own risk and is not covered by warranty.

Plumb an external canister with 304 stainless steel lily pipes (16 mm) and 16/22 mm tinted filter hose for a clean, rimless-ready inflow and outflow.
